The Desert Palace is a tough one

Did not realise the window for the game wasn't in place properly in this recording for the footage as it didn't keep it in place.

This is game #12 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.

In part 4 of the game Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past I search around and dash to speed through areas. Eventually I find a cave with some weird things to kill by way of bomb throwing due to running out of arrows. Clearing those creatures opens the way to... a bunch of free rupees! I save the two chests with rupees but take the bombs and arrows since they will come in handy later.
When I get back to the Desert Palace and use the Book of Mudora to open the way, I make my way inside to face the harder trials and enemies lurking inside this place.

The thing I start hating the most is the spinning totem thing with the eye shooting out lasers at me. While they are easy to dodge and just continue what you are doing, killing it requires quick dodging to attacking methods and repeating it until you kill it. This is why it is best to avoid when possible.

After moving around the rooms, slaying most of the enemies and solving puzzles to progress through the dungeon, I make my way to the boss.

This boss is somewhat challenging due to multiple rock caterpillar things coming out of the ground and shooting rocks as they do, flying up and then down into the ground to burrow again. It becomes a matter of timing and placement before quick attacks to weaken each thing before getting down to the final one which when it unburrows, it will shoot many more rocks to cover more directions and is a good reason to die to this boss!

Streamlabs OBS used for recording and setting the scene with SNES font, my avatar and the game picture for what I am playing.

    Emulator used: RetroArch
    ROMS: They are the games
Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
