This is game #18 in my series for completing SNES games using an emulator and ROMs.
In the game Super Mario World I get the first key secret for the game unlocked which I end up forgetting about coming back to but what can you do, haha!
More lives are gained and so are the feathers to get the cape powerup which is the best in the game. Onto the next level which is an annoying, side moving level that forces you to slowly get pushed along, but at least we unlock the green switch palace which allows the green blocks for the cape (that I thought was the fire flower) but we get the better one of the two.
Why were water levels ever invented! I hate them but they are a part of each great platformer game and gets you using different tactics and skill to get through them without dying.
But at least I manage to rush through to the end after the bonus pipe area that I went into multiple times for things, saw the timer running out!
You will see some more excitement and challenges in not just doing the ghost house level but a few more levels that appear before Mortons castle.
What is the castle like this time? Well the Thwomps and fireballs, moving blocks and spikes, it is a little harder now but there are much worse castle's out there to get through yet! Morton is pretty easy to defeat as long as you jump when he drops and allow room for him to run and you to jump on him before going up the wall again.
Still a lot of stages to go yet over many worlds, the challenge difficulty will rise and there will be deaths!
Streamlabs OBS used for recording and setting the scene with SNES font, my avatar and the game picture for what I am playing.
Emulator used: RetroArch
ROMS: They are the games
Saving: Using emulator saving between levels or occasionally in tough parts so I don't always die and repeat so then the game can get completed.
