When we have severe political disagreements that we just can’t hash out through voting alone, sometimes we can choose to shun people who we perceive to be “bad” enough. This lets people exercise their right to disagree on serious issues, however, at what point does it become too drastic? Do we really want to live in a world where people frequently end friendships and refuse to talk to people who just don’t see the world the exact same way?
