The Macro Moment: Exporters

Two of the world's major exporters are sucking wind. This is going to have an impact upon the global economy.

In this video I discuss how both Germany and China are showing headwinds in their exports. Since that makes up a large part of both these economies, we are going to see a major hit to the global recovery.

It is vital to understand, especially if you are American, that we need to look outside the United States for indications as to what is going on. The US accounts for roughly 25% of the global economic activity. A lot more occurs outsides its borders.
