This is a term that was coined (to my knowledge) by Yuval Harari to describe those people who find themselves out of work due to automation and unable to find other employment. This is a growing concern especially now that we see things kicking into overdrive in terms of automation.
In this video I discuss how we cryptocurrency is the ideal solution to this problem. While people are looking to governments to solve it, we have the answer right here.
