One of the biggest and the most spectacular Airport in the world!

Hello, dear fellows in the Hive Universe!
It is a common experience to spend a significant time at the airport while traveling from one part of the world to the other part, especially the people who love traveling to explore the beauty everywhere around the earth. Today I am going to tell you about the newly built airport in Beijing, the Daxing International Airport with some of the stunning photos that I took on my last trip to Bangladesh. My flight was from this airport at 9:55 pm but I went there earlier in the late afternoon because my living place is far north (70 km) of the Beijing city center while the airport is around 50 km south of the city, so I needed to go a long distance and I also wanted to explore the airport. Today I am going to share my experience with the moderenization of the airport is next level though I have very little experience with so many good airports of the world!

Beijing Daxing International Airport (IATA: PKX) is one of two international airports serving Beijing City of China which is located on the border of Beijing and Langfang, Hebei Province. It has been nicknamed "the starfish" which is 46 kilometers (29 mi) south of Tiananmen Square, the city center of Beijing. After almost five years of construction and a cost of CN¥ 80 billion (US$11.4 billion) facility features a 700,000 m2 (7,500,000 sq ft) terminal which is the world's largest single-building airport terminal.

In my personal experience, the airport is truly a magnificent one without any doubt. The neatness and cleanliness will definitely make you feel that you are one of the best places in the world and the vibrant color of everything with newly furnished surroundings is awesome to explore. The best thing is that the communication with the airport is so convenient with public transport such as subway shuttle and bus is available and easily accessible from the city center. Also, the airport has one of the largest multistoried parking areas for private transport.

The airport is not only big itself but it has enough facilities and resources to be one of the greatest airports in the world. One thing that I have experienced is the proper utilization of modern technology, when I entered into departure area of the airport I had to go through a good security check and I had face detection with my entry and I could know my flight update anywhere of the airport by scanning my face to some self-service booths which are designated for that purpose. For example, I entered an hour early to the departure area with my boarding pass without any gate number which was to update after one hour or more. So, I learned about my departure gate from that booth which was really helpful rather than searching it on some big screen with a ton of effort! Such a hassle-free experience is very necessary everywhere.

Besides, the other facilities which are mostly available in all the international airports such as the dining, lounges, duty-free shops, and everything you need are abundant here. I was tired enough to cover a small portion of the airport and found a free exhibition area where the historical info and heritage were explained with beautiful animation which is a good way to enjoy some time at the airport.

The gigantic airport with 4 runways has around 100 dining areas with restaurants, lounges, and international food chains like KFC, Starbucks, Mcdonalds, and so on. Another interesting fact is that 10% of the total electricity it consumes from renewable sources which is a good step for operation though it has a 10MW power generation unit for the airport!

It was a great experience to travel through such architectural gems of the world and I was happy to be there earlier than my flight to enjoy exploring it. Though the long journey tiredness was not my favor to cover the whole airport with more details, it is a great place not to be bored I can assure you.
