Still building a studio and betting on the weather!

Introduction

Here is our fifth video of building a new music studio. This time you can see the frame is done and the walls are starting to put put up. It has been a real struggle with the wind and the rain! It was great to start getting the roof boarded and making it all weather proof. We have been in it now and it feels good that it is actually a building!

Hopefully next week we will start with the electrics and lights!! We have a window and a door ready ready to go in and you can see the gaps made for them. We should be done in around 3 weeks then we can start moving all our stuff in and have already started shopping for it!.

The video

This was shot on time lapse using an Ipad. We then added it to hit film express did some colour correction and changing of the speed. We then used a green screen video to add one of the boys with some playing cards as this is a real bet against the weather! The weather has been a massive issue with the wetest November on record...so we have been hoping the weather holds so we can continue. Although it is not long till it is properly water tight! This is two videos put together and you can see how windy it is especially on the second day!

The shadows

Looking at the shadows you can see when the sun comes out half way through. The first half it was very dull and overcast. It is always lovely to see the sun come out and hopfully dry some stuff out as it has been horrendous here!
