There is another watch party for our local pub music group tomorrow night. We are alternating these with live playing over Zoom, but the latter tends to suffer when it comes to audio quality. I made some videos today that I will share with the group. I did not really plan what I was going to play, but I ended up with three songs I have played before. I just do not like to bore the group with the same old songs and so try to do a different set each week.
This was my electric contribution of some ZZ Top playing my Benford custom Telecaster through Zoom G3X with Boss RC-1 looper to back up the solos. All plugged into a little mixer and my M-Audio interface. Microphone is an MXL 990 condenser.
I am not sure I had played solos for this song before, but a blues box seems to cover it okay.
