Tele Tuesday - Hurt

I was reminded of this song by Song Exploder on Netflix. In each episode they dive deep into a song with whoever wrote it. In this case it was Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails. I have a few albums by the band, but do not know that much about him. I know he has done a fair bit of film music, including the latest Pixar, Soul, that I watched and enjoyed this week. He is obviously an intense guy and was quite destructive in his younger days. My version may be closer to what Johnny Cash did on one of his last recordings, but I am nowhere near his voice. My vocals are mixed a bit low on this, but that was the performance I captured.

The guitar is my Benford custom Telecaster through a Zoom G3. Microphone is an MXL 990. Both going into an M-Audio Fasttrack Pro interface. I got my microphone boom from @stav and it is very convenient.
