Hive open mic week 60 - JazzTRIO

Hello everybody!

I've been a bit absent around here, I was taking care of my fiancée, we thought it was Covid, it was very bad but thank God it wasn't covid and she's already much better.

We had a really difficult time, although it was not covid that my fiancée had, we had scares and moments of anguish and insecurity. We had each other and that was enough to keep the faith and hope that everything was going to be okay.

At times I would feel overwhelmed and I would take some time alone to clear my thoughts and calm down a bit, I would grab my drumsticks, put on music and start playing, that for me was like my therapy. I love playing jazz, I feel so free and so full that I feel like I float in the air when I play, music has helped me in difficult moments and this time it was no exception.

In this video I am playing with great musicians and friends who allowed me to record with them, I am privileged.

Hola a todos!

He estado un poco ausente por aqui, estuve cuidando a mi prometida pensabamos que era Covid, estuvo muy mal pero gracias a Dios no era covid y ya esta mucho mejor.

Pasamos un tiempo realmente dificil, aunque no era covid lo que tenia mi prometida pasamos susto y momentos de angustia e insertidumbre. Nos teniamos el uno al otro y esa suficiente para mantener la fe y la esperanza de que todo iba estar bien.

En momentos me sentia abrumado y me tomaba un tiempo a solas para despejar mis pensamientos y aquietarme un poco, agarraba mis baquetas, colocaba musica y empezaba a tocar, eso para mi era como mi terapia. Amo tocar jazz, me siento tan libre y tan pleno que siento que floto en el aire cuando toco, la musica me ha ayudado en momentos dificiles y en este no fue la excepcion.

En este video estoy tocando con grandes musicos y amigos que me permitieron grabar con ellos, soy un privilegiado.
