What a treat it is to be able to witness a magnificent rainbow over my house and be able to take photos and share it with you!
It fascinates me each and every time when I see the beautiful colors of light in the sky when rays of the sun hit the falling raindrops.
Seeing a rainbow always reminds of the time when as a kid I asked my Dad why rainbows are arched. He told me that rainbows are that way because raindrops that reflect the sunlight are curved.
I have to admit that I never outgrew the idea that rainbows are magical bridges across the sky full of colors.
One of these days my tiny Yorkie will cross that rainbow bridge, and it pains me to think of that day. Her vet told me that the normal life expectancy of toy dogs is 15 years. MySweetPea is 14 years old this year. If she does cross the Rainbow Bridge, I will be imagining her waiting for me at the end of every rainbow that I will see.
