Splinters: Water vs Water
Rule Set: 46 Mana Cap, Opportunity for All, All Health Poisoned Every Round, and No Dragon or Earth Splinters
My strategy here was to load up on a little more mana heavy monsters than usual and guess that my opponent would use a non-magic team.
With Leviathan in front, I'd have someon with a ton of Health and Speed who was hard to hit but still dished out a huge amount of melee damage, while also attracting all enemy attacks to itself with Taunt.
With Wavesmith, I used Protect ability to add extra armor to the already extra armor from Kelya Frendul.
Nerissa Tridawn lays out down heavy hurt with her 3 magic points of damage.
I put Oshannus next due to his magic-decreasing Void, magic-dodging Phase, and his decent magic attack power and good speed.
I put Kulu Hunter next probably because I was running out of mana but wanted to keep up the pressure.
Merdaali Guardian helps heal my front line and doesn't have to worry about being attacked due to Leviathan's Taunt.
The strategy worked well, if not perfectly since I lose half my team at the end but by them I was only dealing with one enemy monster.
