I was caught off guard by my opponent's placement of Venari Knifer in their first position and though their Thorn ability would be a bigger problem than it actually revealed itself to be.
Unicorn Mustang, Mushroom Seer, and Goblin Psychic have still proven to be a potent first-three line up.
Regal Peryton proves great against enemy melee if forced to first position.
I was worried about not having an Taunt monster for this battle, Slipspawn, but the combination of Magi of the Forest and Mycelic Queen still proved effectice, especially against Venari Knifer's Thorn ability.
While this fight wasn't perfect, I didn't lose a signle monster so I consider a pretty solid victory.
For me, perfect victories are when none of my monsters have received any damage at all -- something probably only capable with Void and Silence, or Shield and Intimidate.
