It's your girl @sessy, and I'm extremely delighted to be here once again as always.

Our theme for this week is WHO IS MISSED, and because I miss my dad so much, i decided to perform a song by Whitney Houston titled:

I Look To You.

This is a song that usually brings tears to my eyes whenever I listen to it when my dad had just passed away.

I lost my dad in 2015, and it was the beginning of suffering for me, i mean it, yes! His death was my ticket to premium suffering and I'll tell you why.

My dad never allowed us (his children) work when he was alive, be it to work and earn money or learn a handiwork or trade. He was so against it, and his reason was that he's capable of providing for his family, so we don't have to work. Just go to school and get a job in your line of profession when you get married, and that's if your husband allows it but if he doesn't, stay home and enjoy his money, anything asides that was a No for my dad. He wanted a soft and easy life for his children.

So i was used to depending on him for everything i needed, absolutely everything. I had no savings whatsoever, and i was still in school when he died.

Before his demise, he was really sick that he was fled out of Nigeria to China, then India, i really can't remember which came first, but the point is that, i couldn't reach him, my step mothers were the ones in charge, and all they'd say was "he's getting better"

I wasn't allowed to talk to him, and you know my mum is late, she died in 2013, so i meant absolutely nothing to my step mums, even though they weren't in unity as well.

I needed to go back to Ghana (school), but none of them was willing to foot the bills, they even stopped my dad's manager from bringing money, i decided to wait upon dad's return, but while at it, i went out in search of a job, and luckily for me, i got one after so many attempts.

I was earning so little but was able to cover feeding and getting few things i needed as a lady. Along the line, i got robbed at my place of work, my phones and boss's money were stolen. It was a small boutique, and i was the only sales representative there. My boss threatened to get her money back from my salary, which meant, i would work but not get paid for a couple of months.

I was back to square one, life became so unbearable, i kept praying for my dad's quick recovery so that he'd come back home fast.

Long story short, i got the news of his death, but i didn't believe it, until his corpse was brought back home after a couple of weeks.

That was when i knew i had lost everything, who do i turn to? Who do i seek for help? I'd look up into the sky and question God sometimes, i was broken, shattered, lost, i became an empty shell, and the premium suffering started afresh in a grand way, because there was no hope any longer.

So this song, was what I'd listen to and cry, it gave me the closure i needed.
