    About :

Moalboal is a little backpacker town about 3 hours south of Cebu City. Scuba diving seems to be the mainstay of the place but there are a variety of other things ranging from taking tours of the many waterfalls in the area to day boating and snorkeling in the area not to mention archery and a flight in the amazing open cockcpit gyrocopter that is here also.
The huge sardine school though is probably the single biggest reason people come here. They are an amazing spectacle and to be immersed underwater with them dancing around you is one of the most incredible experiences you could ever have. For those of us lucky enough to be here year round the joke is you can't get tired of them, they are always so different. If you are not a scuba diver they are so easily seen as the are a mere 20m from the shore which is a short swim for even an inexperienced swimmer and can be enjoyed from the surface so easily its 100% a must do if you are in the area. You would be so annoyed with yourself to find out this was in the area and you did not experience it. Remember if you are a scuba diver it's a must dive but if you don't dive it's a must see. Don't let this one pass you by if you are anywhere near here
