Hello hive Open Mic family and my fellow beautiful singers 🤗
It's another week's edition with a beautiful theme chosen by our spotlight artiste @mairene1 titled "Cinema". It feels good to be here again....

I'm choosing to share my chosen song that correlates with the theme and it's a cover titled "Opportunity" by Sia. Sourcing out songs for this theme wasn't so easy as I settled to sing Un Poco loco from the movie "Coco", a Disney animated movie but I kept biting my tongue, lol, then I decided to give up and find something else to sing before finally settling for Opportunity by Sia.

This song was used as a music track in the movie "Annie". In the narrative of the 2014 film "Annie," the idea of opportunity is essential. Opportunity is a chance for people, particularly those who are overcoming adversity, to better their lives and realize their aspirations. Annie, a little orphan who is offered the chance to live a better life, is a perfect example of the concept of opportunity.

Yes, we sometimes make mistakes concerning some areas of life but the universe can be so good to present us with another opportunity. It could be in the same form as the previous one and sometimes, it could come in a different way entirely. It's our job to remain sensitive at all times so as to identify and walk in opportunities as they come our way.

Es una edición de otra semana con un hermoso tema elegido por nuestra artista destacada @mairene1 titulado "Cine". Se siente bien estar aquí de nuevo....

Elijo compartir la canción que elegí que se correlaciona con el tema y es una versión titulada "Opportunity" de Sia. Conseguir canciones para este tema no fue tan fácil ya que me conformé con cantar Un Poco Loco de la película "Coco", una película animada de Disney pero seguí mordiéndome la lengua, jejeje, luego decidí rendirme y buscar algo más para cantar antes de conformarse finalmente con Opportunity de Sia.
