Hey Jude From The Beatles (Acoustic Cover) By Samuel and Frans

Hi, all my dear friends. Good afternoon, and I wish you continued health. We are both “The People People”, an acoustic band on Hive Platform to share the songs we both play. I'm Samuel Stifen a guitarist and my friend Frans as a vocalist. Once a week, we will be present in the Hive Music community to present the acoustic versions of the songs we play. On this occasion, Frans and I will perform a cover song from a legendary music group that was so famous in its time to this day. The band is The Beatles. One of our Favorite songs that we will be playing today is “Hey Jude”. Many great musicians also performed covers of this song with different genres. This song gives a sweet memory to my vocalist Frans, who at that time, he and his girlfriend were on vacation in a beautiful place.

However, the weather was cloudy at that time, raining very hard. So they were both trapped in the heavy rain and took shelter in a small hut. To get rid of the boredom while waiting for the rain to stop, Frans played this song with his cell phone. Coincidentally, his girlfriend also liked this song and they both sang together. Even when we were doing a music event at a cafe, Frans and his girlfriend sang a duet of Hey Jude.

Many sources say this song was written by Paul McCartney for Julian (John Lenon's son) who was saddened by the divorce of his parents. But for me, this song is not only for Julian but for all of us. Because of the lyrics of this song, I assume that this song gives a message to us to stay strong and never be sad. In every life, there must be trials that are so severe. But the ordeals in life are not to be mourned. Life must be faced with joy and a smile. From the lyrics of this song too, I assume that we must rise in sorrow. Because sadness is just a useless act in life.
