‘That was the best session yet’ Stuart said.
Frank and Henry were in agreement
Paul, once again, said, 'we could have done better, I felt that the third song ‘Mary Mary’ was just a tad off key and the timing of the ‘Born in Stone’ was way out, couldn’t you hear the lag between the drums and the bass, what were you thinking Frank'.
Stuart Frank and Henry just looked at Paul and shrugged,
Frank piped up, 'C’mon man a little hiccup doesn’t matter, we played a full set and let’s look at the big picture, and the response is going to be awesome'.
'It’s a bit hard though' said Stuart, 'this new format of doing everything online is just a bit weird, you really don’t know what the response is going to be until the audience starts to leave comments and we won’t get to post this session up until later this evening'.
‘By that time we will all be comfortable in our homes a few whisky’s under our belt and feeling even better about the gig’ said Henry
‘I don’t know about that’ Paul said, ‘I for one always get a bit more critical by that time, and can’t watch without wanting to do better’.
Again Stuart Henry and Frank looked at Paul and said in unison, ‘C’mon mate, Just chill already!!’
Henry stood behind Paul, grabbed him by the head and said ‘We have a full set of fifteen songs we just played, I for one really enjoyed it and thought that some of the riffs were unique and excellent, never to be repeated moments I say, that riff in ‘Secret Sanctuary’ was the best yet'.
‘I suppose your right’ said Paul, ‘we did hammer out that ‘Mundane Medicine’ like no never before, It was the best one in the set’.
All four nodded their head in agreement
The door opened and Steven the engineer came into the studio room , ‘Big Thumbs Up’ he said, ‘you all looked great and the best sound I have heard from you for some time, this break has done you all the world of good, We do have a slight problem though’
Stuart, Frank, Henry and Paul all high fived each other and then turned to Steven
Steven looked at the boys and nervously said ‘Umm, err, Slight problem’ The Video is great, umm, however, err, there seems to have been a glitch and it would appear that the Microphone wasn’t turned on’
‘How would you feel about going again?’
While Steven was struggling to breathe under the weight of Stuart, Frank, Henry and Paul, he pondered his career as a sound engineer
