What is the Benefit of WAVE BROOD to the Team? And Focus Chest | Splinterlands

I've been encountering level 6 summoners in the Gold League a lot lately, I didn't encounter them that often in previous seasons. I've heard that many players, not just me, are encountering powerful summoners. We had a chat with my friend @joetunex about this yesterday and he said that he encounters level 6 summoner very often. Instead of saying we shouldn't beat level 6 summoners, I told him we should get used to beating them. Because I encounter them very often, it is not enough to beat them in a few battles, I need to beat them in many battles with powerful strategies and get used to beating them, otherwise the Gold League becomes very boring and frustrating for me. Especially this season, I have won many battles against summoners of level 6 and above, it's not easy, but with powerful strategies, they are possible.

Wave Brood is a Monster that can attack targets with Ranged Attack and has powerful abilities, albeit low in speed and attack power. I prefer it in many battles especially because it has the Taunt Ability and it really helps my team to win. Wave Brood only has 1 speed and 1 Ranged Attack and after level 3 it has 2 Ranged Attacks, although its speed and attack power seem like a disadvantage, its high health and abilities allow me to ignore this disadvantage. Due to its Taunt ability, all enemy monsters target it so that other Monsters in the team are not the target of attacks until it is destroyed. In particular, backline monsters in the team take no damage until Wave Brood is destroyed. In some battles, it may be necessary to stall the opposing team, so Wave Brood can be very useful in such battles.

Noxious Fumes rule means all Monsters start the battle Poisoned.
Holy Protection rule means all Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.

When I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, I saw that the opposing player had quite strong cards and I could guess that the opposing player would prefer the level 6 ZINTAR MORTALIS in this battle. So I strategized accordingly and preferring Melee Monsters in such a battle might be a disadvantage, so I chose Magic Attack Monsters but on the other hand, my first position Monster in this battle should not be the target of the opposing team's back line monsters. Otherwise I could have lost this battle so in this battle I added WAVE BROOD to the team and put it in the last position. My strategy in this battle was especially DJINN OSHANNUS not taking much damage and thanks to WAVE BROOD, DJINN OSHANNUS's health in the first position was not damaged at all, which made it easier for me to win the battle.
