    Greetings, Foodies Bee Hive community! On this occasion, I will share with you all a delicious dessert, very typical in my country; it is a Mango Jelly. It’s a very simple but tasty recipe. Let's get to the ingredients and the step by step.

    ¡Saludos, comunidad de Foodies Bee Hive! En esta ocasión, voy a compartir con todos ustedes un delicioso postre, muy típico en mi país; se trata de una Jalea de Mango. Es una receta muy sencilla pero sabrosa. Vamos con los ingredientes y el paso a paso.

    Ingredients:

    • 3 Green mangoes / 3 Mangos verdes
    • 300 g. of white sugar / 300 g. de azúcar blanco
    • Vanilla extract to taste / Extracto de vainilla al gusto

    Preparation:/ Preparación

    First, we wash the mangoes and cook them in abundant water to soften them. Let’s remember that the mangoes must be Green for this recipe.

    Primero, lavamos los mangos y los ponemos a cocinar en abundante agua para ablandarlos. Recordemos que es necesario que los mangos estén verdes para esta preparación.

    We will know that the mangoes are ready when the skin opens. Then remove from heat and let stand until they are at room temperature.

    Sabremos que los mangos ya están listos cuando la cascara se abra. En ese momento los retiramos del fuego y dejamos reposar hasta que estén a temperatura ambiente.

    Next, we sieve the mango pulp. Some people don’t sift it because they want a more rustic texture. I am going to sieve half of the pulp.

    Luego, pasamos a tamizar la pulpa del mango. Hay quienes no la tamizan pues desean una textura más rustica. Yo voy a tamizar la mitad de la pulpa.

    Once we have all the pulp, we put it in a pot to cook over medium heat with the sugar and vanilla to taste. Let’s stir constantly until the jelly takes the desired consistency.

    Una vez que tengamos toda la pulpa, la colocamos en una olla a cocinar a fuego medio con el azúcar y la vainilla al gusto. Removemos constantemente hasta que la jalea vaya tomando la consistencia deseada.

    Then, place the jelly in a container of your preference and let it rest at room temperature. I used some glasses. Finally, refrigerate the preparation for a few hours.

    Luego, colocamos la jalea en un recipiente de su preferencia y dejamos reposar a temperatura ambiente. Yo utilicé unas copas. Finalmente, refrigeramos la preparación por unas pocas horas.

    All that remains is to enjoy this dessert made from a wonderful tropical fruit.

    Solo queda disfrutar de este postre hecho a partir de una maravillosa fruta tropical.
