Hello, DIYHub! Today I want to show you a craft made in the way I like the most, with recycled materials. This is a vase or container in the shape of a dragon egg. Let's see the materials and the step by step.

¡Hola, DIYHub! El día de hoy deseo mostrarles una manualidad hecha de la manera que más me gusta, con materiales reciclados. Se trata de un florero o contenedor con forma de huevo de dragón. Veamos los materiales y el paso a paso.

We will need / Vamos a necesitar:

1 Jar of mayonnaise / 1 Frasco de mayonesa.

Disposable spoons / Cucharillas desechables.

Liquid silicone / Silicón liquido Scissors / Tijeras.

Spray Paint / Pintura en aerosol.

We start by removing the label from the mayonnaise jar, wash it and set it aside.

Iniciamos retirando la etiqueta del frasco de mayonesa, lo lavamos y reservamos.

Then, we cut out the heads of the plastic spoons, which should all be the same size, we will need about 40.

Luego, recortamos las cabezas de las cucharas plásticas, las cuales deben ser todas del mismo tamaño, vamos a necesitar unas 40.

We proceed to glue the spoons to the jar with silicone starting from the top edge, placing one next to the other, as we can see in the image.

Procedemos a pegar las cucharas al frasco con silicón comenzando desde el borde superior, colocando una al lado de otra, como podemos ver en la imagen.

We make the bottom row, this time placing the spoons in the middle of two of the top row.

Realizamos la fila de abajo, esta vez colocando las cucharas en medio de dos de la fila superior.

This is how the design is looking like; let’s proceed with the third and fourth row.

Así va quedando el diseño; precedamos con la tercera y cuarta fila.

The last row is the only one left. For the size of these spoons this vase required 5 rows in total.

Ya solo falta la última fila. Para el tamaño de estas cucharillas este florero requirió 5 filas en total.

Now we are going to give it the color of our preference, you can use gold or copper, I opted for a red spray that I had on hand at the time, because the idea with this craft is to recycle and reuse. We look for an open space and carefully paint the entire surface of the vase.

Ahora le vamos a dar el color de nuestra preferencia, pueden utilizar dorado o cobrizo; yo me decanté por un aerosol rojo que tenía a mano al momento, pues la idea con esta manualidad es reciclar y reutilizar. Buscamos un espacio abierto y con cuidado pintamos toda la superficie del florero.
