Hello, Hive Open Mic friends! I hope you are having a week full of good vibes. For the 87th edition, which theme is Different Thoughts, I want to present you the song La Puerta Azul (The Blue Door), by the Mexican rock band Maná, from their 1990 album Falta Amor.

In this case we are told the story of a man who fell into the seduction of drugs. Many people unfortunately see in these substances a way to enter a fantasy world, where they can evade the reality that overwhelms them. Others of us think completely different, and find magic and fantasy in the little things, in the beautiful positive details of life and in spirituality.

¡Hola, amigos de Hive Open Mic! Espero que tengan una semana llena de buenas vibras. Para la edición 87, cuya temática es Pensamientos Diferentes, quiero presentarles la canción La Puerta Azul, de la banda de rock mexicana Maná, perteneciente al álbum Falta Amor de 1990.

En este caso nos cuentan la historia de un hombre que cayó en la seducción de las drogas. Muchas personas lamentablemente ven en estas sustancias una vía para entrar en un mundo de fantasía, donde pueden evadir la realidad que los agobia. Otros pensamos totalmente diferente, y encontramos magia y fantasía en las pequeñas cosas, en los bellos detalles positivos de la vida y en la espiritualidad.
