Hive Music Festival #34 [ Round 1 ] 🪕 "I Feel Good" @rodolfomandolina

Hoy estoy muy emocionado, es la primera vez que participo en el Hive Music Festival, así que vengo con todo el entusiasmo para traerles música a mi estilo con mi mandolina.

La música que elegí para mi primera participación en el festival, se llama "I feel Good" que en español significaría me siento bien. Este tema es super conocido, es un sencillo del cantante de soul y funk estadounidense James Brown, lanzado en 1 de enero de 1964.

La revista Rolling Stone incluyo esta canción en una lista, dentro de las 500 mejores canciones de todos los tiempos, además ha sido versionado por muchos artistas famosos, y no solo eso, si no que ha sido usada en varias películas famosas, sin duda alguna es un tema reconocido mundialmente.

La versión que les traigo hoy es instrumental, con la base rítmica y armonica del tema original, pero con instrumentos como el cuatro venezolano, bajo y caja flamenca, además hay una sorpresa en la parte media de la cancion🫢 , cambia la ritmica a tambor, para los que no saben que es el tambor🪘, no es más que un lenguaje artístico y musical que se encuentra conectado a un pasado histórico de los esclavos africanos, que hasta la fecha es muy practicado por los venezolanos, con una rítmica muy movida, normalmente se encuentra ligada a las costas venezolanas.

Cuando comienza la rítmica del tambor, canto la melodía del tema, y después realizó una pequeña improvisación, así que espero que el video musical y el arreglo les guste, me siento bien jajaja. Saludos a todos.

The version that I bring you today is instrumental, with the rhythmic and harmonic base of the original theme, but with instruments like the Venezuelan cuatro, bass and flamenco box, there is also a surprise in the middle part of the song🫢 , changes the rhythm to drum, for those who do not know what is the drum🪘, it is nothing more than an artistic and musical language that is connected to a historical past of the African slaves, which to this day is very much practiced by Venezuelans, with a very moving rhythmic, normally it is linked to the Venezuelan coasts.
