This movie is a smoke a bowl and drink some beer and relax and prepare to laugh your ass off kind of a movie!
4 best friends are Kiss fans, so much so they even have their own band.
Jam is the drummer, Trip the lead guitarist,Lex on Bass and Hawk on rythm and lead vocals.
They have plans to go see Kiss in Detroit....
Already bought their tickets too!
If only it could be so easy though.
See the drummer of the group, moms just found out that he's planning on going to see Kiss.
She burns the tickets, thinking she stopped him and then took him to a catholic boarding school to save him from satan,
mean while his friends are able to win 4 tickets and backstage passes.
They come up with a plan to help Jam escape....it involves a special pizza...LOL
The fun begins....the priest is ripped, Jam escapes with the guys and their off to Detroit!

On the way to Detroit, they run into a disco problem.
See Trip throws a pizza out the window....
It just happens to land on the windsheild of the car full of disco fans behind them.
This leads to some trouble that then leads to Hawk and the guys leeaving the disco lovers tied to a guard rail.
One of the disco lovers was not happy with what was happening so she took off.
Once the guys were done having fun they once again were off to see Kiss, they see her and decide to pick her up.

Once they get to Detroit, they find out that Trip is a damned moron.....
See Trip did make the winning call....
But he was so excited, he hung up the phone without giving them his info!

As if that were not enough, they go back to their car....
it's gone and so is the girl they picked up(her name is Christine).
They all decide to go seperate ways trying to figure out how they are going to get into the show.

Hawk ends up in a disco strip club trying to win a cash prize for stripping for a crowd full of women.
Trip ends up being a hero after stopping an attemped store robbery.
Lex ends up saving Christine and Getting the car back.
Jam ends up loosing his virginity in a confessional booth to a girl named Beth.....
They all end up meeting at the same location from which they left, only to find that none of them really had any luck in securing cash for tickets.

But they still are able to get in thanks to Trip's adventurous night.....But I am going to make you watch to find out about it!!! LOL!!

I give this movie a huge good times thumbs up!!!

This movie is a great fun loving coming of age movie set in the late 70's.
It was very well written and scripted in my opinion, most of the cast members are still acting today.
There is a lot of scenes and subject matter that I think would be a problem in todays politically correct society....

But then if your like me, you have a sense of humor and don't really care as long as your relaxed and having a good time....
Got my beer in my hand my bowl is packed so...
