Yes, I bet 80% on the rural mass in Karnata are the daily consumers of Mirchi or Mensanikai bonda or Menasinakai Bajji. Since these are made of Green chillies, the final snacks will be spicy. And goes well with puffer rice or what we call them as Mandakki. Lot of local songs go rhyming Mirchi Mandakki here.
One a Rainy evening, we wanted to prepare some snacks and Mirchi was the choice.
Mix the flour with water and salt with a thick consistency that chilli can hold some while dipped into it.
Rest the video takes you through the frying up of the Mirchi. Here are some photographs I captured while I was capturing the video
Hope you enjoyed the video of cooking Karnatakas favorite evening snacks. Will be back with a new video on Threespeak soon.
Take care of your health and stay safe. Stay home
Have a nice time all 🙂
