I have been staying away from home from the age of 11 years old. It was my choice as my dad was a teacher and was very strict even at home. I use to get nice beatings if I do anything out of line. So that when I wanted to stay far away from him. An opportunity came at the right time for a residential school. If we write an entrance exam and clear it, they will take care of everything including education till my 18th year ( 12th std )
My driving force was my Dad’s anger. I did well in entrance exam and joined the residential school (Central Govt : Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya) it is a special part of my life and happy thing till today is, my Dad never gets angry on me
The residential school use to give holidays only twice a year. The day I was coming to home from my residential school, mom use to prepare batter for Paddu. That’s when I started loving it for breakfast.
Its same as dose, just the preparations differ very little. Just the batter needs little extra puffed rice.
I have also uploaded a clear video with instruction on how to prepare Paddu and what do you need with paddu to eat too.
Here is the link for youtube video of me :
Let me take you through the photographs I captured while Paddu is prepared.
These look like cupcakes for all those who have never seen them 😉 yes these are cup cakes which are cooked on open cup pan and not baked like cakes.
Hope the video helps to know how it is prepared. And visit the YouTube channel to know how to prepare batter and chutney.
Stay safe and have a great day 😊
