End the Lockdown? - Lockdown Day #33

I like to make statements and clarify things at the beginning... So, if you are not open for different opinions about things, and can't accept that people are thinking differently, please don't read or watch this blog post...

As time passes by, people are getting more emotional about their surroundings and start to doubt things around them... I'm not an exception from that rule and living in a "cage" for 33 days (till now), some of my brain cells are recalculating some things about our current "status".

Yes, this will be another coronavirus blog post... Maybe a bit different than you are used to seeing/watch, but the topic is the same... The human body is a self-repairing machine and it can heal itself... it can build up walls that are unbreakable for diseases to enter...

As I said before, I have no doubts about the fact that the virus exists... It exists, and it's can provoke serious problems to the person, and there is still no cure for it... As there is no cure for a lot of other diseases or viruses...

These days we can see how the same "expert" is saying that they have overestimated the virus with their predictions about a couple of millions of deaths only in the US. The numbers are 10-20-50 times less then they have predicted...

The problem is not that they have predicted wrong, the problem is that they have taken measures based on those predictions which will cost an "ordinary" people a lot very soon... Total lockdown here in Spain will last one more month minimum, so 2 months with everything STALLED.

In the last 2-3 days, I have already seen a lot of FB videos from people that NOW can't afford to buy food for their families... What will happen in the next 30 days? What will happen AFTER? People can't work and don't get any help from those who have forbidden them to work...

Was it necessary to implement total lockdown? There are other countries in the world where the measures are a lot more "human"... And they are having almost the same statistics as others... or even doing better... You have the internet, search for Sweden, Germany, India, Japan, some of the South American countries...

From my point of view, this shows a real failure of our health system... Here in Spain, they have "reformed" the health system a few years ago and they have made a lot of cuts... There is not enough medical staff, equipment... The money has gone to some other "more important" things...

Someone here said: "Call Ronaldo and Messi to cure you when you are sick..."

Our priorities are short-term... our thinking is limited to "until tomorrow", or even only until the end of the day... There is no planning in advance... We are living in a micro-wave society...

Turn off your TV and turn ON your BRAIN... You are more valued than a sheep inside the barn... You can contribute and you can change things... You have power... Maybe they have taken it from you, but you have it...
