    About :

In this Hump Day Easy Talk, I had to talk about Ethereum and some negative vibes around it because of its high fees... I heard from a couple, close friends bitching about ETH and how unusable it is and I had to say my opinion about it in this easy talk video...

Firstly, ETH is one of the first cryptocurrencies that I have heard about... As a matter of fact, because of ETH, I'm here where I am and I wouldn't probably get into crypto at all... Okay, maybe I would, but definitely much later than I did... I got into crypto through GPU mining and the first coin that I have mined was Ethereum... It was back in early 2017 when I have multiplied my GPU rigs 3 times in 6-7 months... It opened for me so many doors in the crypto world...

But, it passed a lot of time after that beginning... My GPUs got old and some of them can't mine ETH anymore... Soon, the new ones that I have bought will not be able to mine ETH either as it will change the algorithm from POW to POS... I will stay without the earnings that I had for the last 4-5 years... There is no person who should "hate" more all these new changes than me... :) But, I'm not bitching at all as I know that these changes are for crypto good and good of everyone...

Another big issue is high transaction fees on the ETH network... For people who are the part of Hive ecosystem, this is something not understandable... There are no transaction fees on HIVE and the coin is very undervalued... On the other side, we have ETH with high transaction fees, the coin that is in the 2nd place on Coinmarketcap...

Yes, ETH transaction fees are high, but there are developments on the blockchain that is focused on many points and lowering trans. fees are one of them... But, saying that ETH "sucks" and there is no future for it because of these FEES is completely unserious... Despite high fees, ETH is still in that SECOND place with a huge advantage in front of their competitors... There are hundreds and hundreds of apps written for ETH that have been used every single day... There are thousands of developers working on them and on the blockchain itself... There are tons of other coins and tokens that have been created on the second layer of the Ethereum blockchain... And so on, and so on...

You get the point... Bitcoin is the Big Daddy of all coins... First of the first... But the keys and the future are in the hands of Ethereum... Don't get me wrong, I'm not BTC or ETH maximalist, just a realist...
