Bacteria are Cosmopolitan organisms, capable of living in many environments, they have existed for billions of years and have had a very important role for our planet, they are "unicellular" so they are only made up of a single "cell", So that we have an idea of how many bacteria exist on the planet, it is enough to look at ourselves through our skin or inside our body and we could count millions!
We have a bad perception about these invisible organisms, so much so that many people are obsessed with cleaning by destroying all the bacteria that surround them, there is a misunderstanding that they are damaged and that they cause diseases in our organisms and it is not like that! Most species are NOT harmful to us! a minority are those that can cause diseases in our body!😱🧠
Actually in my video I explain how important bacteria are in water, in all ecosystems where we find a bacterium immediately plays a vital role in maintaining order in the trophic chain! bacteria are excellent decomposers, they reduce everything they touch into simpler elements! there comes a stage where the decomposition is so specific that the organic material is transformed into simple chemical elements! and with this we have an idea of its efficiency!🧬🧫
