My day starts at 4:00 am with my wife's DE PIE. The day of clearing arrived and one of the few times we will go to the beach this year due to the remoteness and difficulty of transportation that the country presents. We put off the alarm clock for 30 minutes more 😂😂😂😂, so we have less time to get ready and go out to take the bus to the beach. Still dark was going this battle-hardened troop composed of 3 kids, 3 seniors and 3 middle-aged ready to not let the opportunity pass us by. We were in such a hurry because we were going to Varadero, one of the best beaches in the 🌎, but they changed the bus at the last minute and diverted us to Boca Ciega, for this gra IA we had to wait 2 hours because of bad disinformation, but that's another story that does not touch now.

Comienza mi día a las 4:00 am con el DE PIE de mi esposa. Llegó el día de despejar y una de las pocas veces que iremos a la playa en este año por la lejanía y dificultad de transporte que presenta el país. En lo que aplazamos el despertador se nos van 30 minutos más 😂😂😂, así que contamos con menos tiempo para alistarnos y salir a tomar la guagua de la playa. Aún oscuro iba esta tropa aguerrida compuesta de 3 niños, 3 ancianos y 3 de edad media dispuestos a no dejar pasar la oportunidad. Tanto apuro porque íbamos para Varadero, una de las mejores playas del 🌎, pero nos cambiaron la trova a última hora y nos desviaron para Boca Ciega, por esta gra IA tuvimos que esperar 2 horas por gusto, por mala desinformación, pero eso es otro cuento que no toca ahora.

The bus starts and it's time to enjoy the scenery. It's about a 1:30 hour trip to the end, full of luggage and with the kids on top.

Arranca la guagua y es tiempo de disfrutar el paisaje. Son como 1:30h de viaje hasta el final, llenos de bultos y con los peques arriba.

Imagine a chubby little rich girl on top of me, all sleepy, poor thing, she is not adapted to get up early, but today was a special day, with 1 year and 4 months of life Ashley was going to touch the sand for the first time. So the bundles, the baby girl and the cell phone to be able to take the pictures, it's not an easy task to be a parent 😂😂😂.

Imagínense una gordita bien rica arriba de mí, toda dormidita, la pobrecita, ella no está adaptada a levantarse temprano, pero hoy era un día especial, con 1 año y 4 meses de vida Ashley iba a tocar la arena por primera vez. Entonces los bultos, la niña y el móvil para poder hacer las fotos, no es tarea fácil ser padre 😂😂😂.

After several attempts at landscape photography, the sunny weather arrived 🌞 and although I took more than 20 photos playing with the modes of the phone I expose the natural ones without filters as they were the ones I liked the most.

Tras varios intentos de fotografía al paisaje, llegó el tiempo del sol 🌞 y aunque tomé más de 20 fotos jugando con los modos del teléfono les expongo las naturales sin filtros ya que fueron las que más me gustaron.

We arrived at the beach

To tell the disappointment, this area used to be famous because there were many rental houses for workers, the companies were in charge of keeping them alive. A few years ago they were taken away from the companies and the designated state tourism chain took care of them. Conclusion: An area full of uninhabited houses, but our trip is to the beach as such so let's not get sidetracked. We all expected a nice, pretty and clean beach because Cuba's beaches are some of the best, but that was not the case either. We found a warm sea and a very beautiful area, full of garbage and empty cans, to the point that before settling down I had to pick up around it and throw it aside because there were no trash cans or anyone in charge of this activity.

Llegamos a la playa

Para que contar la decepción, esta zona antiguamente era famosa porque habían muchas casas de renta para trabajadores, las empresas se encargaban de mantenerlas vivas. Hace unos años se las quitaron a las empresas y la cadena estatal de turismo designada se encargó de ellas. Conclusión: Una zona llena de casas inhabitadas, pero nuestro viaje es a la playa como tal así que no nos desviemos. Todos esperamos una playa linda, bonita y limpia porque las playas de Cuba son de lo mejor, pero tampoco fue así. Nos encontramos con un mar cálido y una zona muy bella, llena de basuras y latas vacías, a tal punto que antes de asentarnos tuve que recoger al rededor de la misma y echar para un lado porque no habían cestos de basura ni ningún encargado de esta actividad.

Favorable to the place I can add that there are plenty of food kiosks and 🍺, that yes go with a 🚚 truckload of money if you are Cuban, because all establishments are the famous MYPYMES. If you are not Cuban you will find the place very cheap because the exchange rate is 1 usd per 210 cup (Cuban currency). To get to this area and move around the nearby beaches I recommend you try to go in your own transport, I was short of food and looking for bread 🍞 and cookies, I walked a lot, to Guanabo to be more exact 😅 and no public or private transport that could overtake me.

Favorable al lugar puedo añadir que hay bastantes quioscos de comida y 🍺, eso sí vayan con un 🚚 camión de dinero si son cubanos, pues todos los establecimientos son de las famosas MYPYMES. Si no eres cubano encontrarás el lugar muy económico ya que el cambio está a 1 usd por cada 210 cup(moneda de Cuba). Para llegar a esta zona y moverte por las playas cercanas te recomiendo que trates de ir en un transporte tuyo, yo me quedé corto de comida y buscando pan 🍞 y galletas, camine bastante, hasta Guanabo para ser más exactos 😅 y no pasó ningún transporte público ni privado que pudiera adelantarme.

Too much trouble, right? This was not going to ruin my day, nor my family's, so I ignored it and enjoyed it. The baby ate her cookies, my wife drank her malt which was what she wanted and I drank my Cuban beer Cristal which is the one I like and together with the family, the whole day in the water because the sun 🌞 was impossible. Fun fact Ashley behaved wonderfully, she didn't like the sand as any little kid who touches it for the first time, but she didn't protest, she just took it off the top and made a bad face 😂😂😂.

¿Demasiados problemas no?. Esto no iba a arruinar mi día, ni el de mi familia así que caso omiso y a disfrutar. La beba se comió sus galleticas, mi esposa se tomó su malta que era lo que quería y yo mi cervecita cubana Cristal que es la que me gusta y juntos con la familia, el día entero metido en el agua porque el sol 🌞 estaba imposible. Dato curioso Ashley se portó de maravillas, no le gustó la arena como a ningún niño pequeño que la toca por primera vez, pero no protestó, solo se la quitaba de arriba y ponía mala cara 😂😂😂.
