El día de hoy quiero continuar con la sugerencia de @alberto0607, mostrando tácticas empleadas en el ajedrez, esto con el propósito de llevara cabo una buena partida. Ayer les expuse acerca de la importancia de los ataques dobles y lo agresivo que pueden llegar a ser.

For today I'll talk about the Piece Sacrifices, this is nothing more than the delivery of material the objective varies depending on the magnitude of the sacrifice, sometimes it can be done for these main reasons: **winning pieces, improving the position, developing combinations, nailing down pieces, among many others, but at least these are the most recurrent.

Para hoy les hablaré acerca de los Sacrificios de piezas, esto no es más que la entrega de material el objetivo varia dependiendo de la magnitud del sacrificio, algunas veces puede hacerse por estas principales razones: ganar piezas, mejorar la posición, desarrollar combinaciones, clavar piezas, entre muchas más pero, al menos estas son las más recurrentes.

The Sacrifice of a Genius/El Sacrificio de un Genio.

In this position Morphy makes his first sacrifice capturing with his Knight the pawn that is in b5

En esta posición Morphy hace su primer sacrificio capturando con su Caballo al peón que está en b5

and offers his horse to the pawn who is in c6.

y ofrece su caballo al peón que está en c6.

Morphy delivers that horse in order to develop his game, after the capture of that horse White develops a quite strong position and it is the one I show you next.

Morphy entrega ese caballo a fin de desarrollar su juego, tras la captura de ese caballo las blancas desarrollan una posición bastante fuerte y es la que a continuación les muestro.

This position is established by Morphy after the capture of the slaughtered horse. It should be noted that the video shows the variant that should have made the black not to fall into the plan of Morphy.
