Hello friends, when playing a game of chess I always keep in mind that the situation may develop in which I have to sacrifice a piece or a pawn, in this game played in [Lichess](lichess. org) I was in charge of the black pieces and the thing is that my opponent developed a pretty fast game and when I reacted I already had the white attack on me and in order to activate some threat or something significant, I remembered a Rook sacrifice by the great Gari Kasparov who in one of his games sacrificed a Rook very early in the game in exchange for activating some attack, let's see the following picture

    1.png

I left my queen on d7 at the mercy of the attack of the bishop and the white knight in order to raise some counterplay in c2 with my bishop and my knight, after giving a check playing Cc2+ my opponent a few moves later exchanges me the Bishop of f5 that defends my knight, I accept the exchange but with check extracting the enemy King and only then I capture the Rook of a1 moving the knight away from the white King.

I must say that my opponent sinned of confidence when he wanted to give an almost mortal check with his queen and bishop as you can see in the image.

Immediately I play e4+ and win the game because my opponent instead of taking his King to his initial position to save it decides to play Rd4 in order to join his King to the attack but that wove a mate net in less than 11 moves.
