In this section I do not come to tell you some deep tactics of the game or how to improve your way of playing, I simply come to tell you the story behind each game, some more exciting than others, but they are topics that very few know, the good thing about all this is that chess is not only exciting on the board but also outside of it, I must say that there are many stories that are not often told. In this opportunity I will tell you about the hidden anecdote behind the match of 1927 when the Cuban Jose Raul Capablanca defended his title against a rising star called Alexander Alekhine, this second of Russian origin had done enough merits to be able to challenge the then champion, but I want to tell you about the conditions that the champion had to try to make it impossible for that young man to challenge him, besides, this is a technique to eliminate the strongest players who wanted the world title. It brought a match scheduled for 24 games where there were more than 10 draws in a row and finally the Russian came out on top 6 points to 3. Join me in the following video to discover this truly fascinating story.
