EL MATE DEL TONTO./THE FOOL'S CHECKMATE.

Se ve un poco insultante el nombre de este jaque mate pero así se llama, si estás aprendiendo a jugar es posible que caigas en el, lo dan las blancas y va de la siguiente manera.

e4 e5, Dh5 Re7, Dxe5#.

• Consejo: Si en la apertura el blanco te juega Dh5 puedes jugar tranquilamente g6 y la Dama tiene que irse y si luego de eso te captura el peón en e5 puedes jugar El caballo a c6 y tiene que irse de nuevo y aunque con peón de desventaja, puedes seguir jugando y recapturarlo sobre la marcha.

• If in the opening white plays Dh5 you can calmly play g6 and the queen has to leave and if after that you capture the pawn on e5 you can play the knight to c6 and it has to leave again and although with a pawn disadvantage, you can continue playing and recapture it on the fly.

La Trampa del Caballo del Rey./The King's Horse Trap.

Esta no es la más común de las trampas, pero se llevo a cabo en un torneo de Maestros en París en 1992 y va de la siguiente manera.

Las Blancas abren con d4 y las negras responden con Cf6.

Hasta aquí todo es normal, muchas veces se plantea c4 por parte de las blancas, llevando a cabo el gambito Budapest o incluso una Defensa Escandinava, pero después el blanco hace una jugada que no es mala pero tampoco es muy buena (más adelante verán el por qué) y juegan Cd2 a lo que las negras proponen romper el centro con e5.

Las negras concretan su plan y juegan su caballo que está amenazado a e3 y aquí es donde pasa factura la jugada Cd2 que hicieron las blancas al inicio puesto a que la Dama esta amenazada y no tiene salida alguna.

Si las blancas capturan el caballo en e3 viene la Dama negra a h4 a dar Jaque y la única jugada que tienen las blancas es bloquear el ataque con g3

y como no hay quien proteja ese peón es capturado por la Dama para finamente dar jaque mate.

Esto pasa cuando abandonamos nuestro desarrollo para tras una pieza como es el Caballo que debido a sus grandes saltos se vuelve muy peligroso.

¿Cómo detenemos esto?/How do we stop this?

Una vez que tienes un peón de ventaja te toca seguir desarrollando tú juego es normal que en ciertas ocasiones te toque devolverlo, pero cuando este escenario llegue es necesario que ya tengas desarrollado todo tu juego pues así tendrás como defenderte y atacar, en la apertura no es necesario ir detrás de una pieza ya que lo que realmente importa es el desarrollo temprano vuelvo y repito. Si llevas las piezas blancas ten en claro que la iniciativa es tuya y debes aprovechar eso a tú favor, el negro generalmente sale a atacar por lo tanto nunca te va a jugar una partida pasiva, mi consejo es que plantes tus peones en el centro bien defendidos con sus caballo y Alfiles, el dominio del centro es crucial en una partida es por ello que si llevas las blancas no abandones el plan en tú apertura por la sencilla razón de que el negro no jugó lo que tú esperabas.
