Many times we tend to underestimate the power of the queen on our board, but still we overestimate it, protecting it at all costs (even more than the king) from any direct or indirect threat on it. These attitudes that prevent us from seeing immediate victories as adversaries or material and/or positional advantages; so today I invite you to see this game I played in which you can see these concepts at a glance.

I play with white and the truth is that in this position it is better to lose a rook in exchange for playing the remaining pieces, many would have given up at this point, but, in reality you can hold a few more moves harmonizing your game.

Already at this point I had recovered the rook of less I had due to the harmonization of my pieces, Dc8 is a brilliant move on my part and the reason is obvious, the black king is locked by his chain of pawns my knight takes away the g8 square and the question is that if black plays Txc8 I would respond in the same way being checkmate after Txc8#. Black made a few more moves but, I win here because the advantage is so much I end up giving up my rook on c1 as my knight and bishop compensate for the loss of that quality. This game teaches us that "error almost always goes hand in hand with beauty on the board ". You can find the analysis of the game in the following link.
