Semana Santa de ajedrez, el ajedrez ha incursionado en tantas culturas que para poder nombrarlas todas pasaría toda la semana escribiendo solo sobre eso. Pero en vista de que estamos en la Semana Santa les traigo una partida que fue jugada por dos sacerdotes en Roma por allá en el año de 1560 les hablo de Ruy López de Segura quien llevaba las piezas blancas contra otro sacerdote llamado Giovanni Da Cutri.

Esta apertura lleva el nombre de Ruy López debido a que la estudió tanto que llego a publicar material valioso que ayudó mucho al desarrollo del juego incluso hasta el día de hoy, esta apertura principalmente va de la siguiente manera e4 e5 2.Cf3 Cc6 3.Ab5, aunque en esta partida se jugó esta variante.

This opening is named after Ruy Lopez because he studied it so much that he published valuable material that helped a lot to the development of the game even until today, this opening mainly goes as follows e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5, although in this game this variation was played.

Sacrificio Impresionante./Impressive Sacrifice.

Luego de que se desarrolla el conflicto central con los peones, Ruy López decide hacer un sacrificio de Alfil brutal un sacrificio de dioses jugando Axf6+.

Aunque esta partida terminó antes de la jugada número 20, bastó para demostrar el gran desarrollo y sacrificio a cambio de ganar una partida.
