My name is Richard Erikodi and I'm the CEO of KOY Network Limited we are pleased to announce the official launch of our public testnet this marks a significant milestone in the project's journey towards the highly anticipated mainnet launch the KOY 2.0 testnet serves as a crucial platform for users developers and the broader community to engage in a comprehensive testing and provide valuable feedback this collaborative effort is instrumental in ensuring a smooth and successful mainnet launch. Hello Everybody! my name is Betty Waitherero and I am the KOY Jumuiya DAO leader I just wanted to speak a little bit about the commencement of the launch sequence of the KOY 2.0 testnet the public testnet launch signifies the commencement of a meticulously planned launch sequence a series of interconnected steps strategically designed to culminate in the activation of KOY 2.0 mainnet on or around March 18th following extensive testing over the last few weeks we are now satisfied that the launch sequence can commence this will start off with the public release of the KOY 2.0 testnet followed by smart contract configuration account creation and token distribution thereafter we will move to the production stage-net and finally culminate in the activation of the KOY 2.0 mainnet also excited to announce that users will soon be able to access and view their accounts using their public keys this enhanced functionality within the testnet environment allows users to familiarize themselves with a KOY 2.0 ecosystem and gain valuable hands-on experience additionally dApp clients can resume testing on the testnet enabling developers to refine their applications and ensure seamless integration with the KOY 2.0 platform it is important to emphasize that this is a testnet environment as with any development and testing phase the KOY 2.0 testnet may be taken offline and restarted as necessary this measured approach ensures the stability and functionality of the platform in preparation for the mainnet launch mainnet launch is currently scheduled for March 18th, 2024 we welcome all users to actively participate in testing the public testnet and providing valuable feedback your contributions are instrumental in shaping the future of KOY 2.0 and ensuring a successful mainnet launch to enable this we will be publishing key milestones as they are reached this is our commitment to fostering an open and collaborative environment where user experience is prioritised please stay tuned for the latest updates and announcements we look forward to your continued support as we embark on this exciting journey together finally I'd like to tell you about our launch sequence and our journey to full mainnet the launch of our mainnet will mark the end of phase 1 of the relaunch of KOY Network Blockchain and that will be KOY 2.0 we're also going into Phase 2 which will include the launch of our privacy layer and some of the pieces that will assist or adapts in meeting their relevant regulation requirements of their respective regulator areas please stay tuned thank you for your continued support and will keep you updated with periodic information as it becomes available thank you
