It's a painful experience to go through divorce/separation. Often, we'd rather not have it happen. In certain societies, it comes with other factors like alimony or child support, not to mention the devastating heartbreak that would often follow and an excruciating process of healing.

There's however a different kind of separation I'm talking about in the music. It's separation from the world in order to follow Christ Jesus. He's a sure partner that never thinks of divorcing us or letting us suffer heartbreak. Only, we frail humans have to try 'by His power' to keep committed.

Like every divorce/separation, there's usually need for readaptation and healing. When we follow Christ, we ought to do so not just by word of mouth but by action. We cannot say we've divorced the world and still hang out with the world on a regular basis. We'd have to adapt by action which will birth strength and consistency. We have to communicate with the new Love in order to know Him more and more and love Him more. This is done by reading holy scripture and meditating on His ways so as to know Him better. He is God, He is Love Himself.

In our relationship with the world, we begot vice, emptiness, purposelessness and despair. In our marriage to Christ, we will beget life and hope, sense of fullness and love, power to do things we never thought we could.

Let us enter into this relationship in which we could take the Love for granted. Isn't it great to be sure that no matter what we do, if we don't choose separation, our Partner is never going to consider breaking up? He always forgives. May we Love such a Partner and never hurt such a Sacred Heart.

Es una experiencia dolorosa pasar por el divorcio/separación. A menudo, preferimos que no suceda. En ciertas sociedades, viene con otros factores como la pensión alimenticia o la manutención de los hijos, sin mencionar la devastadora angustia que a menudo seguiría y un proceso insoportable de curación. No podemos decir que nos hemos divorciado del mundo y que aún nos quedamos con el mundo de forma regular. Tendríamos que adaptarnos por la acción que hará nacer la fuerza y la consistencia. Tenemos que comunicarnos con el nuevo amor para conocerlo más y más y amarlo más. Esto se hace leyendo las Sagradas Escrituras y meditando sobre Sus caminos para conocerlo mejor. Él es Dios, Él mismo es Amarse. En nuestra relación con el mundo, engendramos vicio, vacío, falta de propósito y desesperación. En nuestro matrimonio con Cristo, engendraremos vida y esperanza, sentido de plenitud y amor, poder para hacer cosas que nunca pensamos que podíamos.
