He estado intentando aprender nueva música, es bastante divertido aunque un poco estresante, pero lo he logrado y ya se me ha hecho más sencillo.

Esta canción que hoy traigo es una pieza que solía tocar un viejo amigo mío, había olvidado que esta canción existía, pero hace un par de días, me di cuenta de que mi suegro la estaba escuchando, me alegré mucho de poder haber percibido la linda melodía de esta canción; me trajo muchos recuerdos bonitos del pasado, así que decidí aprenderla justo ayer, la canción es bastante sencilla así que fue bastante fácil.

La temática de esta semana es "hasta el extremo", representado con una ilustración de un desierto, un lugar inhóspito de la tierra. Creo que todos hemos caído alguna vez en terrenos inhóspitos al involucrarnos emocionalmente con alguien, o tal vez no con alguien, sino más bien con alguna situación. La pasión y el amor por alguien nos puede llevar a hacer cosas extremas por esa persona, si algún ser amado es dañado por alguien, creo que nuestra primera reacción es defender a ese ser cobrando venganza (o eso lo haría yo que soy bastante apasionado je,je,je) o si simplemente esa persona está mal por cualquier circunstancia siempre nos pondremos de su lado.

Cómo dije, el amor es algo que nos hace llegar al límite, "hasta el extremo" por complacer a nuestro amor, valga la redundancia. Cuando amamos, sacrificamos nuestro propio bienestar por el bienestar de otros, no importaría vivir en un desierto o abstenerse de comer o beber para que la otra persona se alimente; esto es algo que entienden más las personas que tienen hijos, los buenos padres suelen sacrificarse más por sus pequeños.

Si hablamos de amor de pareja, creo que también hay un grado de sacrificio que surge del deseo de estar con otra persona, nos sometemos también a situaciones extremas como la tristeza, el anhelo, la súplica y la mendicidad, todo para conseguir esa relación que queremos. Los artistas podemos inspirarnos a partir de esas posiciones de pobreza, si tenemos tristeza por no ser correspondidos y sufrimos por eso, hacemos música a partir de esa situación de austeridad; y eso es lo que también dice esta bella canción, recalcando que su música ha nacido de una triste inspiración.

I think we've all fallen into inhospitable terrain at one time or another when getting emotionally involved with someone, or maybe not someone, but rather some situation.
