Hoy estuve buscando opciones para empezar mi semana de música y trabajo, pensé en traer alguna canción de Zoe, pero decidí hacerlo para otra ocasión. Luego se me ocurrió el gran Charly García, mi querido amigo, el cual solía no agradarme por su insolente y extraña actitud. Empecé a buscar canciones en su álbum "random", y me gustó bastante una canción llamada "lluvia", pero luego encontré "los amigos de Dios" una canción que ya había escuchado y me gustó mucho, evidentemente me decidí por ella.

La canción que hoy traigo es una crítica a la televisión, tal vez también es una crítica a todos los medios de comunicación, electrónicos y de entretenimiento, los cuales tienden a idiotizar a propósito a las mentes humanas. Esto es algo que es cierto, hay buen contenido en las redes y aparatos electrónicos, pero ese contenido es mínimo y débil en comparación con la basura absurda que moralmente tiene más popularidad. Los medios están llenos de publicidad e intenciones de que seamos cada día mas consumistas e inútiles, hasta los teléfonos y aplicaciones te acosan con su publicidad de idioteces, teniendo que pagar con tu esfuerzo y trabajo para no soportar tanto acoso y atropello en tu apreciación del contenido. En fin, los mecanismos de este mundo y la economía son simplemente terribles.

Charly es un rockero nato, sobreviviente de épocas políticas bastante tensas en Argentina, naturalmente, es un protestante. Lo interesante de el, es que su lenguaje no es muy poética ni encriptado, a pesar de vivir momentos en donde la política argentina censuraba y atacaba al arte y a los medios que los criticaban, su lenguaje no se volvió misterioso para poder subsistir, a diferencia de otros artistas argentinos que se transformaron a una poesía que debía ser interpretada y analizada para ser comprendida.

Today I was looking for options to start my week of music and work, I thought about bringing some song by Zoe, but I decided to do it for another occasion. Then I came up with the great Charly García, my dear friend, who I used to dislike because of his insolent and strange attitude. I started looking for songs in his album "random", and I quite liked a song called "lluvia", but then I found "los amigos de Dios" a song I had already heard and liked a lot, evidently I decided to go for it.

The song I bring today is a criticism of television, perhaps it is also a criticism of all media, electronic and entertainment, which tend to purposely idiotize human minds. This is something that is true, there is good content in the networks and electronic devices, but that content is minimal and weak compared to the absurd garbage that morally has more popularity. The media are full of advertising and intentions to make us more and more consumerist and useless, even phones and applications harass you with their advertising idiocies, having to pay with your effort and work to not endure so much harassment and outrage in your appreciation of the content. In short, the mechanisms of this world and the economy are simply terrible.

Charly is a born rocker, a survivor of quite tense political times in Argentina, naturally, he is a protestant. The interesting thing about him is that his language is not very poetic or cryptic, despite living through times when Argentine politics censored and attacked art and the media that criticized them, his language did not become mysterious in order to survive, unlike other Argentine artists who turned to a poetry that had to be interpreted and analyzed to be understood.
