No haré referencia con respecto al pasado lejano de ambas selecciones que se enfrentaron en esta segunda semifinal y sí voy a hacer referencia sobre su inmediata actualidad; tanto Italia como España no están experimentando buenas sensaciones con respecto al juego que practican y en mi opinión, ambos equipos padecen una presión que podrá motivar o hundir más y es que en esta oportunidad, la derrota no será manejada de una buena manera por el entorno de ambas selecciones y eso les obliga a cada equipo a ganar si o sí, el margen de error no está permitido y creo que eso hace que tanto entrenadores como jugadores sientan la presión en diputar lo que es una semifinal y estoy convencido de que ese factor (la obligación de ganar), influyó mucho en la actuación de ambas selecciones, las cuales por varios jugadores en el campo de juego, se esperaba que fuera mejor, pero la realidad es que no fue para nada bueno; el juego de España e Italia, fue lento, aburrido, poco asociativo, muchos fallos y muy pocas ocasiones, al final, simples detalles como falta de concentración, tontas equivocaciones, presión alta y aprovechar oportunidades, es lo que hizo la notable diferencia para cambiar el destino del juego e hizo que España a dos minutos de llegar a los 90', consiguiera el gol de la victoria que los hará enfrentarse a la selección que quedó tercera en la Copa del Mundo. El próximo domingo, nuevamente España, con un nuevo entrenador y con jugadores que la prensa deportiva esperaba de ver en la selección, tendrá la oportunidad de levantar un título que la edición pasada se le hizo esquivo.
