Hello Hivers! We are Dina and Omar from @musicandreview and for us it is an honor to present a song composed by the Puerto Rican Benito de Jesus but popularized by the Ecuadorian singer-songwriter Julio Jaramillo, better known as "el ruiseñor de américa"; the song is called "Nuestro Juramento" and was released in 1956 but later it would be part of the album "Idilio Ecuatoriano" in 1959.

This week we cite the theme "Joy to the World", and while it is true that the lyrics of this song can be melancholic and with an intense love story, we believe that for its impact, popularity and the mark it has left on several generations, it will bring a smile or joy to more than one who recognizes it. This song is a Latin American classic that is still in force despite having been composed 65 years ago, has many versions but we believe that none equals the original interpretation.

We want to dedicate this entry to Dina's father, who has been listening to this beautiful song since he was very young and is a great connoisseur of this artist, our love and affection for him and we hope he likes our version.

Somos Dina y Omar de @musicandreview y para nosotros es un honor presentarles una canción compuesta por el puertoriqueño Benito de Jesús pero popularizada por el cantautor ecuatoriano Julio Jaramillo, mejor conocido como "el ruiseñor de américa"; la canción se llama "Nuestro Juramento" y fue lanzada en el año 1956 pero luego formaría parte del álbum "Idilio Ecuatoriano" del año 1959.

Esta semana nos cita el tema "Alegría para el mundo", y si bien es cierto que la letra de esta canción puede ser melancólica y con una intensa historia de amor, consideramos que por su impacto, popularidad y por la marca que ha dejado en varias generación, traerá una sonrisa o alegría a mas de uno que la reconozca. Este tema es un clásico latinoamericano que sigue estando vigente a pesar de haber sido compuesta hace ya 65 años, cuenta con muchas versiones pero consideramos que ninguna se equipara con la interpretación original.

Esta entrada queremos dedicársela al padre de Dina, quien desde muy joven escucha esta bonita canción y es un gran conocedor de este artista, nuestro amor y cariño para el y esperamos que le guste nuestra versión.
