    About :

I just love this homemade guacamole recipe, it is my go-to chip dip, and everyone who tastes it just loves it. It is extremely simple to make using fresh ingredients.

Growing up I was not a fan of avocados or guacamole dip, but now they are one of my favorite things to eat! The creamy avocado dip combined with salty tortilla chips is a party in your mouth with every bite.

Every time I bring this to parties or serve it at my house it is gone in like 10 minutes. And I love how super easy it is to make. If I can do it, you can do it. Let’s get started!

    Ingredients

4 to 5 medium ripe avocados
    1/2 medium white onion
3 to 4 Tbsp of minced fresh cilantro
    1 tsp. of salt 5g
    1/8 tsp. of pepper pinch
1/2 tsp. of garlic powder and or 2 to 3 cloves minced garlic 2g
1 to 2 limes start with half of a lime, you can always add more later

    Instructions

Cut up and mince the onion and fresh garlic and cilantro.

Wash the avocados. Cut them in half and then scoop out the pit. Save the pits! You can also put your knife in the pit and twist it out.

Cut slits in the avocado halves lengthwise and then widthwise. Scoop out the avocado chunks with a spoon and place them in a medium bowl.

Add the onion, garlic, and cilantro in with the avocado. Add the salt and pepper and garlic powder (for extra garlic flavor, if desired), and combine everything with a fork. If you like tomatoes in your guac, slice a tomato into cubes/chunks, and add it in.

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice into the guacamole. Make sure the seeds don't get in there. You may want to squeeze it over a bowl first. The lime juice adds flavor along with helping to prevent it from turning brown. Mix with a fork.

Tip: Add the pits into the dip. The pits will also help keep it from turning brown.

Cover with plastic wrap so the wrap touches the top of the dip. Place in the fridge until ready to serve. Although it is best served right away. Enjoy!
