Playing Dead Cells in those spares 30 minutes, when you don't have too much time to follow a story or dive deep into a digital world has been such a joy from time to time.
The devs followed this game so long after it's realese, tweaking the meta and adding new dungeons and routes, the game is basically the same from the beginning because they struck such a nice formula and gameplay loop but on the plus side there's a ton to discover and hidden lore for the one who want to unravel the mistery behind your undying form and the "castle", although it has a lighthearted feel to it.
You have two weapon slot and two skill slots each with their button attached, a jump button and a dodge.
Here you have all your gameplay it's up to you to choose the very different playstyles and adapt to what the randomized nature of each run offer to you. What differs from other Rouguelike is the speed, so fast and frantic the action is sometimes hard to follow and the overall quality of enemies.
But for me the selling point of this game reside in the ability of pressing jump and downward while you are in the air, depending on the hight from the ground it create a splashes more powerful that blast the enemy away and it's one of the most satisfying initiator ever ever
Have a nice one!
