Diving a bit into the backlog of games, looking for the one I bought and forgot, some parts of bundles or others retrivement...I wonder how many lifetimes one need to have to try them all.
I'm actually interested to try ones that I end up not liking and finding sometimes that more of peculiar expirience then the one made for you.
Well, Maize looked like something that I would like so much...that Psychonauts vibe, the weird but familiar setting and the funny characthers. All in a 3d point and click
adventure! I enjoyed these aspects and I reccomend it but aside from all the cool stuff sourrounding it the gameplay is way to plain, I would not even call them puzzle, random objects that do random things wich
is cool but you never get to experiment them in any way, the most strange stuff get explained by item description or just literally told you where to put it leaving out every thinking one may do.
It almost feel like a collectathon but without the fun jumping or moving these kinda of games focus on.
I have kept going for some more hours but then I got to the "sewers", a really stretched out area where you have to walk from one part to another and didn't feel like going further.
I will try and finish it as the story may result fun, but I wish it did try to put more fun per square meter or at least make traveling fun.
GoodNight!!
