This week I don't have too much to show for on coding side of things as I'm stuck on the persistence of coins throughout the game world when the player move level to level. Made little to no progress on that front as it turns out I have to sit down and write an array that list all the collectibles and then erase one by one as the player grab them.
So I worked on level design and made 3 smaller levels that change the challenge and have new platform to challenge.
In Doc Lab the theme is this rotating capsule that can connect them self to other creating this floating bridges beetwen the islands. The stage is set atop a giant pixel tree and the player has to districate this sky labyrinth to get to the Doc House.
The level is still not complete in the uploaded versions.The video showcases some of the trick jump you can make with this powerful traversal. (Though I needed to make more then one take cause is not easy to control once you get full throttle xD)
Hopefully in the next weeks I can close the general direction of the game and publish this first World with a progression system.
