Online Improvisation Workshop #3 - Rhythm induces Trance

What if improvisation is a way to unlock our ancient selves through music? What if we could tune this sense and allow other dimensions to flow through us?

Here is the third video of the free Online Improvisation Workshop by @montycashmusic find it also on youtube here:

Simple instructions for practicing a meditation with each track (please feel free to sing a higher octave in these exercises, I realise that I am humming very low - or even just hum a note to start that you feel is in harmony with the other note, it doesn't specifically have to be a G (Si) for the purposes of this exercise):

    1. Find a comfortable place to lay down or sit in a chair undisturbed to listen to these loops.
    2. Play the loop and for the first 3-4 minutes (don't pay too much attention to actually counting the minutes) allow your mind to relax into the rhythm.
    3. For about one minute hum or sing along with the droning note in the recording and allow your mind to get used to this; take breaths as you need, continueing persistently but relaxed.
    4. When you feel yourself entering a less consciously focused lucid state of mind allow your humming to wander to anywhere in particular and find rhythms, accents, notes, deviations, nuances and plateaus to explore with this simple singing technique.
    5. Continue this until the end of the recording.
    6. Repeat for the next loop.
