Hive open mic Week 169 / Cover: Te pido la paz

Una vez en una dinámica nos pidieron escoger dos palabras que nos definieran como personas y una de las que yo escogí fue Empatía, siempre he tenido la convicción que es algo que nos hace falta a toda la humanidad y que con el pasar del tiempo es mas evidente que la estamos perdiendo. Que tal si en vez de actuar solo por nuestro beneficio y deseos nos detenemos a pensar que pudiera sentir nuestro prójimo con esa acción? creo que ponernos en los zapatos de otros y cumplir la frase: No le hagas a los demás lo que a ti no te gustaría que te hicieran a ti evitaría muchos males.

para esta semana elegí una canción que acostumbraba a cantar en la iglesia cuando pedíamos a Dios por nuestra nación, ciertamente no he vivido los horrores de la guerra, pero sí el dolor de estar separada de familiares amados por la corrupción y deseo de poder de los gobernantes de mi nación, se que muchos han perdido a seres queridos en la lucha por recuperar nuestra libertad y eso para mi es muy parecido a una guerra, no porque no me haya pasado a mi deja de doler, aunque muchos lo olviden, en la memoria de algunos está latente.

Te pido la paz es una rogativa a Dios para que nos ayude a pensar y sentir como el, a que podamos compadecernos de los que sufren y si de alguna manera podemos aportar nuestro grano de arena lo hagamos. El autor de esta canción, falleció y fue algo que me dolió ya que sus canciones me acercaron a Dios, espero que disfruten de este lindo tema.

Once in a dynamic we were asked to choose two words that define us as people and one of the words I chose was Empathy, I have always been convinced that it is something that is lacking in all of humanity and that as time goes by it is more evident that we are losing it. What if instead of acting only for our own benefit and desires we stop to think what our neighbor could feel with that action? I believe that putting ourselves in the shoes of others and fulfilling the phrase: Do not do to others what you would not like them to do to you would avoid many evils.

For this week I chose a song that I used to sing in church when we prayed to God for our nation, certainly I have not lived the horrors of war, but I have lived the pain of being separated from loved ones by corruption and desire for power of the rulers of my nation, I know that many have lost loved ones in the struggle to regain our freedom and that for me is very similar to a war, not because it has not happened to me it stops hurting, although many forget it, in the memory of some it is latent.

I ask you for peace is a prayer to God to help us to think and feel like him, so that we can sympathize with those who suffer and if in any way we can contribute our grain of sand, let us do it. The author of this song, passed away and it was something that hurt me because his songs brought me closer to God, I hope you enjoy this beautiful song.
