Hive Open mic Week 162 | Cover "Oceanos"

Después de una semana de ausencia del hive Open mic regreso para seguir compartiendo mi pasión por la música con ustedes, además de mis vivencias y pensamientos en base al tema que se propone cada semana.

Creo que para mí esta temática en especial me ha hecho reflexionar mucho pues justo en este tiempo he estado caminando en un campo minado, cuando pienso que todo va estar bien y que puedo descansar de alguna preocupación surgen otras que logran mantenerme inquieta. Aprender a confiar cuando el panorama es oscuro o incierto no es tarea sencilla pero tampoco imposible, así que yo pienso que "Estar bien" tiene que ver con la Fe y a saber que Dios estará conmigo en todo momento aunque pasen cosas que no me agraden.

After a week of absence from hive Open mic I return to continue sharing my passion for music with you, as well as my experiences and thoughts based on the theme proposed each week.

I think that for me this topic in particular has made me reflect a lot because just in this time I have been walking in a minefield, when I think that everything will be fine and I can rest from some concern others arise that manage to keep me restless. Learning to trust when the outlook is dark or uncertain is not an easy task but not impossible either, so I think that "being well" has to do with faith and knowing that God will be with me at all times even if things happen that do not please me.

La historia de esta canción es muy especial para mí porque tuve una conexión especial con ella a penas la escuché y en ese tiempo estaba acabando de conocer a quien hoy es mi esposo y en una de nuestras conversaciones yo le compartí esta canción y a él le encantó así que decidimos interpretarla a coro con sus alumnos de música en un festival.

Pienso que mientras mis ojos estén fijados en Dios mi vida se mantiene a flote, pero si desvío mi mirada y comienzo a ver el desastre fácilmente puedo hundirme, por eso dije al principio que para mí estar bien es mantener la confianza en que mi vida está mejor en sus manos.

The story of this song is very special to me because I had a special connection with it as soon as I heard it and at that time I had just met the man who is now my husband and in one of our conversations I shared this song with him and he loved it so we decided to perform it in chorus with his music students at a festival.

I think that as long as my eyes are fixed on God my life stays afloat, but if I avert my gaze and start to see the disaster I can easily sink, that's why I said at the beginning that for me to be well is to keep trusting that my life is better in his hands.
