Hace un par de días llegó a mis manos otra partitura del maestro Yann Tiersen, Le Matin, una pieza que me ha parecido hermosa e hipnótica. Hoy no sólo quiero tocarla para ti, también quiero compartirte mi análisis de la obra y lo que esta me ha hecho sentir al interpretarla.

"Le Matin" ha sido compuesta en la tonalidad de Mi bemol mayor y fluye a través de una textura de melodía acompañada. El acompañamiento es un ostinato hipnótico con el ritmo distintivo de una sincopa que acompaña la melodía de principio a fin. Por su parte, el motivo melódico es presentado de forma simple en el registro central desde comienzo de la pieza. A lo largo de la obra el motivo será enriquecido con variaciones rítmicas y de altura, entre otras.

Les Retrouvailles es el nombre con el cual fue bautizado el quinto Álbum de Yann Tiersen, lanzado al mercado en el año 2005; Le Matin (La Mañana), es la canción n° 8 del mencionado álbum. Sin duda quiero empezar todas las mañanas con la paz y la serenidad que me trasmite esta Nouvelle Chanson.

Pintemos con amor la vida. Esta obra me hace pensar que cada día es un lienzo en blanco que podemos pintar de forma única y especial. Conviene entonces buscarse colores hermosos y llenos de vida para pintar bellos paisajes ¿Pero dónde encontrarlos todos reunidos, hay una paleta que los contenga todos? ¡Si! la paleta del amor.

Mi comentario final y personal es que "Le Matin" es una de esas canciones que puedo escuchar una y otra vez sin cansarme, y que siempre logra transmitir esa sensación de tranquilidad y serenidad que tanto aprecio en mi vida. Interpretar esta obra me desconecta del mundo exterior, simplemente me lleva a un lugar cálido y lleno de amor.

A couple of days ago, another score by maestro Yann Tiersen, Le Matin, came into my hands, a piece that I found beautiful and hypnotic. Today I not only want to play it for you, I also want to share with you my analysis of the work and what it has made me feel when interpreting it.

"Le Matin" has been composed in the key of E flat major and flows through a texture of accompanied melody. The accompaniment is a hypnotic ostinato with the distinctive rhythm of a syncopation that accompanies the melody from beginning to end. For its part, the melodic motif is presented simply in the central register from the beginning of the piece. Throughout the work the motif will be enriched with rhythmic and pitch variations, among others.

Les Retrouvailles is the name given to Yann Tiersen's fifth album, released on the market in 2005; Le Matin (The Morning), is song number 8 of the aforementioned album. Without a doubt I want to start every morning with the peace and serenity that this Nouvelle Chanson transmits to me.

Let's paint life with love. This work makes me think that every day is a blank canvas that we can paint in a unique and special way. It is therefore advisable to look for beautiful colors full of life to paint beautiful landscapes. But where to find them all together, is there a palette that contains them all? Yeah! the palette of love.

My final and personal comment is that "Le Matin" is one of those songs that I can listen to over and over again without getting tired, and that always manages to convey that feeling of tranquility and serenity that I appreciate so much in my life. Performing this work disconnects me from the outside world, it simply takes me to a warm and loving place.
